Im trying to find out if anybody knows of any health providers that can provide instant claims on existing injuries..Last week i tore my ACL and i have to private health.
The wait to see a specialist is 4 months and thats just a consult then from there he will decide the best thing to do surgery or not.. Surgery wait list i was told could be as long as a year! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I VERY MUCH doubt you would find such a thing.
Think about it.... everyone would just wait till they get hurt before joining, then start claiming the next day...

Yeah mate, no health insurance mob will cover pre existing conditions or injuries. Plus even if you join now you gotta sit out the waiting period before you can claim.

Yeah there is usually a 1yr wait on existing ailments. I got caught out, had private health for 24yrs with the same mob for heart condition I was born with. Due to being on centrelink I could not sustain the payments, let it lapse and 6 months later, even though I had a 24yr history, I had to wait a year before my cardiac condition was covered.

You are "self insured", so you pay the total cost out of your own pocket. If you don't have the money, you could get a loan.
