This heavy duty radiator says it has a concentric transmission cooler built-in... This would presumably negate the need for a trans oil cooler...may make things easier for some of us especially as the AU's get older... Just thought I'd share it with everybody in case anybody's looking!

Why would you want the trans cooler an integral part of the radiator though?
It's a good thing having a separate trans cooler, for several reasons.

If it's a separate section dedicated to just the transmission oil flow, wouldn't that still be better than just the regular radiator...maybe still not as good as a dedicated cooler...just another option I guess.

The fittings look to be in the same position as normal, I would have assumed it's much the same design with the coil inside the tank.
I could be wrong, but it looks the same to me.

Just looks like a standard replacement to me.
And that ebay seller is the same one who sells those poxy aftermarket ignition coils for BA/Barra engines that break down under load.

I would go a separate HD tranny cooler over any in tank version any day Dave. The risk of destroying a gearbox should the in tank version rupture isn't worth the risk.
