Default "Events, Cruises and Get Togethers" Thread Posting?

I've just tried to start a new thread in the WA/SA/NT section, to have it disappear? Are threads being checked prior to placement, or is something amiss? I thought I had posted a new thread incorrectly, so tried again but still nothing and there are no new comments on using this section "stickied" up top - comments please?

While the movers and shakers are playing in this area, is there any possibility of having separate sections for WA, SA and NT events too please?

With thanks,

Clint

All posts in the event areas go through a moderation queue to ensure that commercially oriented events are not advertised. This is noted at the top level heading for the events area.

We will take on board your request for separation of the States.

When was that put in place Russ? I used to always post cruises and stuff which would show up straight away.

Thank you - thought I was going mucking fad. Any idea how long we now have to wait - I'm into the third day with no response/reply?

Russ

Makes it a little hard if a few people decide on a cruise for the following weekend and want to let everyone else know but it takes a few days to be posted

They are generally approved the same day - the only ones that take longer are those which require a bit more review to establish whether they are suitable or not.

I added a new event yesterday - is this still in the approval process or has it been denied :(

I listed another thread for a khana day being held this Sunday, last week. Has it been denied or are decisions taking more than a few days to be made?
