Default headlight globes

Evening all,
Need to upgrade the headlight globes in Focus - with winter approaching, my bog standard headlights are frustrating me!

I have done the search with no luck - people have recomended globes from a uk store, and just wanted to see if anyone knew who, and what globes people have gone for!

I wouldn't mind upgrading mine either.

But I get confused with the book, so many different globes!!! The AU was easy, one for low/high beam, and one extra for high beam.

Now I've got dipped beam, low beam, high beam, I can't seem to tell what the difference between low beam and dipped beam would be, other than that dipped beam should be called parkers because that's all it does. But I have a setting for parkers as well???

So yeah, I'd be interested to know what TYPE of globes (h4, h7 etc) I need, and how many of each! Including foglights, if I change to a different colour temperature I want all to match even if I never use the things.

(Sorry for the minor hijack but still slightly relevant!)

just another Q - Should I be replacing the H1 globes also, or is it only the H7's that are needed?

Cheers

Are U sure HID upgrade globes in OEM headlights do not render the car unroadworthy?

Guys, take a look here: http://www.powerbulbs.com/

I've bought a number of bulbs from them and their service has been faultless. Unless you do a lot highway driving, I'd suggest replacing the low beams (H7). Free international shipping too.

For anyone interested, Powerbulbs have 20% off Philips X-treme Vision, the sale is on until Monday 14th, 5pm UK time so get in quick! These bulbs aren't cheap in Oz, at least $60 + shipping online or $75+ in a store.
