Well done to all the guys/girls over there in South Australia. Best club display, I believe Glenn got best ute or similar, Ron got 2nd in Blue Ribbon class, John got 4th in Blue Ribbon class and Gary got 2nd best FPV. I am not sure if I got all this right. But a huge well done to the club!

We enjoyed ourselves heaps, the rains came down hard early on and we thought, that was it. But the skies opened up and held out nicely for the rest of the day. There were some quality standouts everywhere we went.

Thanks to all of the organisers and helpers for all of their behind the scene efforts in putting on such a great event.

We were lucky in that regard. We did encounter some heavy rain but only for a while.

Thanks 290v. Your crew and a whole heap of other clubs present looked great too. It was really close call in our eyes. Once again everyone we spoke with were very friendly and extremely proud of their cars. We had a blast.

Well what can I say. Loved it as always and like Jack said there were some fantastic examples from all eras. This year I took out the awards for any model ute and furthest travelled. Thanks tons to John Mirabella for his help under the hood and Gary and Adrian aswell for helping me get it spick and span. To the Judge of my class you obviously have impecable taste and the Organisers for once again putting on a well run and fun day. Thanks Guys and Gals.
Kudo's to the club for another great display and awarded so and to everyone else who took out places in their catorgories. Well done people.

Here is a Few pics of the ute after the presentations.

Cheers
Glenn

Ha Ha Pete see told you this club would be the Club that does turn heads.

Well done again to the club for winning best club display and the individual winners for their vehicles. Have to say the club would now have to be the stand out Ford club in Vic with the quality of vehicles that the members own and respect. Also this club also comes down to good managment and of course quality members and enthusiasm.

Once again shows me the reason why I decided to start this club, it brings a nice feeling to hear the club is continually growing and moving forward. So it only shows the reason the club and members keep bringing home the trophys.

Again well done keep up the good work
Cheers Chris

For the ppl who dont know MFC inc would of been ORSM SA but the club decided to go in a different path in the very early stages and i have to thank DOC for all his help in these early days also Chris for is input, I quite enjoy our rivalry we have and even tho we have butted heads at times its all in good fun ;) we are starting to get there after ironing out some wrinkles, We are now incorporated fully insured and now CAMS affiliated and starting to organise our own motoring track events. I am no longer president of the club but its in good hands as the new committee is doing a awesome job getting the job done and making things happen. Once again i would like to congratulate you guys and gals on your win's and i would like to thank you personally for taking the time to come to Little old Adelaide for the AFD. Lets hope our rivalry continues it puts a little fun into the sport ;) Id dare say we will have to bring our A game to AFD next year to get that club trophy back lol. :

On a side note I know a lot of ppl dont like you guys coming over here and wining our trophy's but you guys have done really well and you are the bench mark.......for the time being ;) until we meet again.

Thanks for the kind words ...

The SA AFD has become one of the events we all look forward to every year.. its a good chance to meet new faces, see different cars and get away for the other halfs for a weekend...

I do feel bad that we take home so many trophies every time we come over but we put alot of effort into our cars and displays. As a result i can tell you the standard of cars this year from the SA based clubs went up a few levels and i have to take my hat off for that ... well done

Next year we are going to step it up even more to try and keep above to Sa folk..

Till next year..

Theo
