Default New 2008 LT Focus question.

I just bought a white 2008 LT Zetec hatch. To replace my written off silver LS Zetec. Hey I'll stick to what I know and it made the most sense to me.\

Anyway, the bonnet does not have a the heat/noise insulation cover underneath. Is this normal? My LS had it. Or did ford take this off to reduce cost?

Otherwise I'm telling them to put it in at the 3000k inspection.

Hmmm no idea.... I'll check mine to see if it has one but I don't think so.

Doesn't make any difference though. The engine's so quiet I can't even tell if it's on at 60km/h!!!!

Its true you can't hear the engines on at 60k's because the factory tyres are so loud you almost need an aftermarket sound system

Haha. At idle I'd swear sometimes it's not running, it's incredibly smooth.

For a giggle, one day get someone to start the car with the bonnet open, and watch how much the motor shakes when you start it. The mounts are SOFT.
