Can someone there look up this item number and see what it says?
I bought a Boss intake (actually 2 uppers and lowers) I bought these parts, it was marked payment received on July 26. I have yet to receive them. The seller is a member here, and will not give me a tracking number, even after repeatedly asking for one. Is 2 months too long to wait or not long enough? Ebay will not let me leave feedback. Someone help! Thanks guys.

2 months is plenty time, I would be looking for a phone number to call them and harass them or at least get eBay to have a go for you. Did you pay with PayPal?

Yes, I had to have a buddy paypal it to him.
I have screen shots showing it was paid for on July 26. Also have a lot of PM's regarding this. Should I post the screen shots and PM's?

The seller claims he sent it long ago,
and it was sent to Michigan in error. Then he says he shipped the 2 uppers and lowers and added an extra lower (powdercoated black) to make up for it. I let him use his judgement on the shipping carrier. He also claims he sent me a tracking number, says he sent it to me and has a received receipt for it, but I never got it. I do not delete PM's with things of this nature. A few mods are trying to help, but after repeatedly asking to send the tracking numbers, he will not answer PM's, and allegedly has not logged on for a few days.

I bet he has sent it slow boat. Just the nature of not responding, is a dead giveway.
If he can't give out a tracking number, it's slow boat! Could take 3 months! I would have thought $150 is air freight? Customs might have it, if it wasn't declared properly. They might think it's a bomb making device? (in all seriousness). If you find that you receive the package in another month, and the postage price is about $40, you will find he sent it via slow boat and probably no insurance. Did you pay for insurance? Altogether I paid $300+ US for shipping.
I actually purchased 2 uppers and lowers from him this time. Also, I bought an intake from him before, he sent it via Sea Mail, and it did take 2.5 months. I made a specific request for him NOT to send sea mail. He also said that he sent me a tracking number via PM, which I never got. I have requested the tracking numbers several times AGAIN, and he won't answer, even though he has logged on. My stupidity in trusting him is my fault, as it has caused a lot of delay related issues. The repercussions of it are about to get serious on my end. I have people here trusting me, but I trusted him. Big mistake on my part. Has anyone looked to see what the item number says?

EBAY says bidding has ended, was finalised for US$650 on 21 Jul 08, and went to member stevee239. description is "BF xr8 boss 260 upper & lower plenum, comes complete with all gaskets/O rings & bolts. Pics are when it was first removed but it has since been clead(sic) off and looks like new".
What else do you need? |

As I stated above, the parts and a tracking number.
After 2 months, I do not think that is an unreasonable request. I actually bought 2 intake setups, as stated above.

The auction only states one upper and lower plenum as stated above. Can you get the sellers details from eBay? Normally you can click on the sellers name and get their address and phone number (if listed)? I would start a case with PayPal and state it wasn't received.... Good luck and I hope you either get your parts or your cash back..

I emailed him first and PM'd him here before I bid on it.
I wanted to make sure he would ship to the states. He agreed to sell me 2 intakes and we agreed on a total price. I have all the PM's. I still do not understand why he refuses to send me a tracking number. I need the parts I paid for that he promised. Is that asking too much? Edit: I already know who it is on this board. If he sends me a tracking number or the parts do arrive, I will post it here.
