My apologies if this has already been posted somewhere else but i couldn't find it in a search.
Will it survive long?? http://topgear.sbs.com.au/index.php Saw the teaser advert on SBS last night. i would've preffered the originals to do the show as a side project but i guess it would've filled their schedules up too much.

Sorry, but it'll be nowhere near as clever, witty or comical purely for the fact that the hosts aren't in the same league as Jeremy, Richard and James. I have seen Warren Brown in action at a car meet and he really is a petrolhead, but I just can't see Top Gear Oz being even half as good as the original. Also, as they have confirmed that they are trying to be original and not mere copies of the BBC show, then I believe that TGA will leave a little to be desired. About 3 weeks ago Top Gear won the Monday night TV ratings spot so as long as SBS keep showing the BBC version on top of TGA, I'll be happy.

Some say he knows all the verses of Advance Australia Fair, and that he can turn water into ice cold beer just by glaring at it.
All we know is that he's called The Stig |

According to this link, there will be a stig with a white suit and helmet for Top Gear Australia http://www.caradvice.com.au/15247/st...-in-australia/
He was seen in a right-hand drive Ford GT at Camden airport in NSW. |

Another study found Australians drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year. That means, on average, Australians get about 41 miles to the gallon. Kind of makes you proud to be an aussie. |
