and you run how fast?
What power does it put out?

You seems pretty confident for someone with a powerdyne.

Sounds like fun, but is you car fast or does it just spin the tyres "all the way to the finish line"?

I hope you didn't pay "say 10 to 20 grand" just to get a Powerdyne fitted....

Well I managed a 15.23 last night, now this may not sound all that good, but keep in mind that I still havent touched the exhaust only unichipped and very minor intake mod. However the mph was a 93, so maybe launching could be an issue find out next week. :evilsasmo

oh ye and no octane boost either lol

RspecAu I run my family wagon and although you do feel a bit of a dick sitting there dead still in the burnout pad waiting to get waved on instead of lighting up your only cars good tyres you do get over it.

Its still a fun night out and I didn't even try to do burnouts or thrash the car mercilessly. Well I hit the cut out in second once untill I decided to leave it in drive as holding the gears wasn't working for me.

Just go and treat it like a traffic light drag. Can't hurt the car much then.

I have been to the drags once, really enjoyed it and will go again but there are negative points. First I had no choice not to do a burnout. I dont see the point in trying to warm up street tyres in a 200hp car so I had no intention of wasting rubber trying. To get to the line you have to drive through a pool of water so you have to do something to dry them out. Second, Out of the 4 runs I did that night, 3 where against sub 12s cars and the other was against a gen 3 commy. I got whipped every run. When lining up against these cars I couldnt even hear my own engine at 4000rpm (and my car isnt exactly quiet). So would just let them go of the line and run my own race, but then I was getting crap from the announcer for my reaction times. I did enjoy the night, but I can understand why a lot of people arnt interested in racing.
