Default Blue Flame ST170 ?
Has anyone come across a ST170 in this colour, Blue Flame iirc.

NZ only got Imperial Blue/Panther Black/Silver ST170's

What did OZ get ?

I have never seen one in this colour

AUS only got Imperial Blue i think it was... sorta the same color as the RS.

Ive seen those in the UK though. Could be a personal import.

FofA only imported the Imp Blue (as per RS Marketing Colour).

The car photo'd above can only be a personal import...and wrong choice of colour too...Plus why someone would go to all the expense of importing an ST170 is beyond me???

Looks genuine to me, judging by the interior pics.

What I find strange is that colour was never an option in NZ/AUS yet it has the body kit that was unique to NZ/AUS iirc.

Don't think so, they imported a UK spec Imperial Blue one for that role, was up for sale a while ago.

I'm thinking somebody may have immigrated from the UK and brought it out with them.

I see in the picture that the grill is painted as well. Did the ST170 have the upper grill painted?

If someone had moved and imported that car, it wouldnt have the AU Spec body kit on it though.

I know a fair bit about the ST170 but I haven't really taken noticed of the upper grill being painted.

That's most probably a grey import given how easy it is to import cars into NZ from overseas. Probably an expat Pom. That's definitely Blue Flame, which was available in the UK as an ST colour. Looks like they just fitted the local bodykit when it arrived in NZ.

ST170 was available exclusively in Imperial Blue, a slightly more purple colour than the only colour of the Focus RS, Ford Racing Blue.

Grilles were painted on all Aust/NZ delivered ST's and I assume thus all Euro models. If in doubt, just query the VIN with Ford NZ.
