Default Shipping mode?

Was just checking diagnostic and must not have held down the button on indicator stalk long enough. "shipping on off" came up on display anyone know about this.
I just turned the ignition off so not to change anything.

My guess would be that probably halts the odometer, switch it on and see if the odo increases?

Shipping mode I have heard limits the revs and speed so they can easily get them on and off the ramps etc without too much fear of flooring it and running into something.

Interesting... very intersting on the shipping mode. Probably stops abuse on the cars while they're still new?

i think shipping mode can reset the odometer as long as it's under 500k's

and it can only be done 5 times...
