Hi guys, was wondering if it is legal to fit a old 351 clevo into a eb sedan in queensland?
Any help with this would be great. Thanks. |

I was filling up at a servo in Beenleigh one night and the guy at the pump beside me pulls in and we start talking about his EB with a 351C in it.
Can be done,seen it with my own eyes,he reckons it was all legal too but only if you run LPG. Best to check with QLD Transport.

I think it can be done if you retain all original emmision equipment from engine and run cat convertors.

It is not legal to put a 351 in an EB in Qld. I spoke to local mechanic who is also approval guy for mods. I put a 351 in an Ea to race speedway. He thought I wanted to street it. If you do find someone to legalise. You will need to use the newer smaller starter motor as well as modifying extractor. Nuckle in steering gets in the way. Hope you have some luck..
