Well...

If you turn on the TV or radio you will hear about an accident on Windsor Rd at Vinyard.

It happened right in front of me...

Car infront of me was all over the road tailgating the Transit van infront of him
I thought at first he was just eager to overtake or something, but when he started drifting into the gutter it seemed obvious he was either drunk or fatigued.
So i backed off, flashed my high beams to try and get his attention.
Nothing happened and he just kept drifting all over the place.

It got worring so i dailed up my local cops, cause i could see an accident about to happen.
I didnt even get through to directory assistance before it happened.

He side swiped an on coming VS commy, then head on into the 3rd car after that.
The following 2 cars rear ended car number 3.

I was just awazing to watch

The road works i think made it that much worse, because the concrete barriers that line the road give you no where to go, no options... Just smash it up.
On the upside it is now a 60 zone because of the roadworks, no longer 80km/h zone.
It could have been much worse, no one was hurt badly thankfully.

Last thing i want is to return home with a bloodied uniform again...
The Mrs would freek and probly spit the bubs out early :

Dont know if you heard about the accident in Samuel St Mona Vale. A guy painting numbers in the gutter of driveways had his head run over by a car backing out the driveway. A tarago saw the accident, lost control and drove into the car backing out. This happened 3 doors down on the other side of the road from my house. Dozens of cop cars, undercover cars, bike about 6 ambolance's and the care flight helicopter hovered above my house before landing in the cemetary next door. That was exiting. To bad about the poor guy.
