To all of those Victorians please look after yourselves over this weekend, we know its summer and Melbourne is well known for 4 seasons in 1 day but this weather is just crazy.
Sometimes we write things that rattle others little cages and sets up anger or frustration, but we care for you, your families and your cars.. Stay safe.

G'day , Copping a little bit of the Victorian system right now in eastern Tassie.
Fairly heavy rain squalls and really gusty winds and cold too.Different to lately. Got the hottest and driest November on record here and 34C on Thursday , about 12 C right now . I hope everybody is okay where the really big stuff has hit Victoria. Cheers Rod |

My water tanks went from 2ft to overflowing (about 30,000L collected), the dams have jumped a foot, and the paddocks aren't dusty anymore. I'm a happy camper in Gippsland

We ended up with 12mm from Fri-Mon. A shower on Friday night and another on Saturday night and that was it. We were all expecting a repeat of 2011. Lots of preparation and hard work for thankfully nothing. It ended up being more of a media event than a weather event out on the Wimmera.

The thing is right, if the government said nothing and it actually ****ed down raining, flooded etc, everyone would still be complaining that there houses got damaged etc, you cant win in this situation, .......

No hype in the North East, 200mm plus last Friday. we were evacuated from where I had being staying in Wangaratta (for the third time this year). The rail corridor and the freeway were blocked at Euroa and Benalla.
Just today got back to check my place further down the Hume and was Ok but you could see where the water channel on my boundary was at capacity.
