Im looking for complete race coverage on dvd or vhs of some classic Bathurst 500/1000 from 1969-1985, they dont seem to be sold so i hope someone here knows where i can get my hands on them. All i can find is highlights but i want to watch the whole race. I am happy to pay for them or cover costs whatever it takes. Am i the only person interested in classic Ausie Muscle car ere racing? please help if you can or point me to the right people.I need to see the XA,B,C Hardtops go round Bathurst. thanks tim.

Try Channel Nine and Channel Seven ... they did the coverage during those years I think.

Unfortunately mate from what I hear, someone at Channel 7 had a brain explosion one
day and all the full length race tapes of Bathurst got chucked out. You can purchase 2 hour highlight DVD's of Bathurst '85 - '06 (though from what I'm told the '85 race is very hard to get). Earlier stuff is only on highlight tapes at channel 7.

dont think too many X series hardtops were in bathurst in the 90s though ORSM ;)

I have a bathurst highlight dvd that covers 69 - 74 I think and I bought it at that huge book shop in Melbourne, Borders I think it's called. They had a heap of other years there too. Hope that helps.
