Default Wedding /event car thread

Seen a bunch of threads around with people wanting to either have someone loan / hire cars for a wedding or function.

I understand you must have a taxi license should you want to make money more or less but perhaps people could all request / offer their cars in this thread? I personally don't think asking for fuel is asking too much but you can work it out amongst yourselves.

Format of posts should be something as follows :

Type of event:
Vehicle:
Location:
Availability:
Remuneration (OPTIONAL):
Date and times:

Any thoughts welcomed.

Maybe in the For Sale area - could start a for hire area - could also be for trailers, and other gear too...

I understand the sentiment behind this, however I don't think the forums necessarily needs a seperate thread for this kind of thing.

If people want to willing offer their cars when a thread pops up, then great! however if a thread was started (at least in a public area) it would come up in googleey and yahoowee searches and you would have a lot of people just joining up to get a cheap/free/slab of coldies/whatever the cost, car for their event, without imputting or adding anything to this great site.

Just my thoughts on it (and no...no eggnog has been consumed...I don't drink it! )

Hadn't thought of that, you raise a very good point. Damn google! Their web crawlers get into everything!
