G'Day guys and Gals,
We have been lucky enough to have had Allan Moffat come to meetings over the past few years. We are even luckier, that he accepted our offer to be our club patron at last weeks meeting and trophy presentation. Allan said he felt honored to receive this, and that we are the only club he is patron of (having refused several over the years) Seagull did a different kind of presentation on Allan, which focused on his years BEFORE ATCC, focusing mainly on his Jimmy Clark and racing Cortina days (and how he came to own one). Another study found Australians drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year. That means, on average, Australians get about 41 miles to the gallon. Kind of makes you proud to be an aussie. Last edited by Go baby Go; 12-12-2010 at 11:23 PM. |

Thanks! I was surprised he had declined all previous offers (that being said it might have only been the Wolsley club or something similar)
so we are pretty chuffed..
