Crazy isn't it. I'm in the mountains and thru the trees looks like fog but it's dust....everything is yellow/brown.
Took some photos with and without the flash...the flash picked up all the dust particles in the air

Been up for around an hour. When I went to flick the jug on for a coffee I could see a hint of red. As it has got lighter it is like Mars. My first thought, from where I live is there is a fire close by.

I took some snaps this morning. I will download them and put them up.

EDIT

Here are some snaps

Cheers
Mark

Just came in from the street after taking pics. Most amazing / eerie sight I have seen in a while!

I thought there was a fire close by.

I hear they have just closed the M5 from the dust in the tunnel! Bygger I better get going, I use the M5 to get to work...

Will post pics later.

We got that (Wagga) yesterday, last night very strong wind and even some small hail. Not fun when I have about 4 spider sprays booked in today!

Unbelievably dusty here. Visibility is under 30m. And everything is absolutely covered in red. Only just washed and polished the car on sunday too :-(

Roads are bloody slippery from the mud too

Incredible waking up to the red glow this morning. I've driven through dust storms before but never seen anything quite like this. Unfortunately i'm going to be wasking dust out of every tiny gap in the ute for weeks.

Went and had a look around where i am (between syd & bris), not as bad as Sydney, or BH

This is Woolgoolga Headland, looking back on the town, and normally rolling hills in the background

Nice Blue sun light hitting the filthy GT

Coffs Harbour Jetty, you can normally see hills for ages in the background
