I drive a Toyota and a Ford and have never rear ended anyone! It is the drivers fault, not the car! so how about the stereotyping stops hey!
Hope you get everything sorted out quickly with your insurance company GTWORKS.

Just pathetic to hit someone at 70KM/h imo, low speed traffic accidents I understand, or even in a 50 zone where things are generally moving much slower.
At 70 eyes should be where you're driving. |

I was only joking, in all honestly the average driver is pretty bad, especially the average senior citizen.
I used to drive a toyota i had it for 3 years and never hit anything.

well market value is somewhere in the vicinity of $5500 and $7100
according to Redbook... which we all know is a low-ball figure I paid $8500 for it @ Melbourne's Cheapest Cars then it was registered by them $400 plus the cost of Rego $600+ plus duties and finally I purchased a 3yr extended mechanical warranty for $1500 (knowing full well the trans would probably perish somewhere between 139,000kms (when purchased) and 200,000kms It had about 175,00kms on her when I was hit (trans still original) Total sale price was $12868 I think and I put $2k up front and have paid $2992 off it over the last 11 months Regardless... My car was almost fully financed So I've been wise enough to insure it for an agreed value of $10k... So at least my loan gets paid out if it is written off Put the claim in with my Insurance today.... and should have a result by wednesday next week Last edited by BTTB; 28-07-2011 at 05:43 PM. |

You're an ageist and a fool. You do know that more young people die on our roads than the elderly don't you? Perhaps in your infinite wisdom, you could enlighten me on how many senior citizens weave in and out of traffic, street race, get aggressive, tail gate, talk on the phone, text while driving, act as a general menace on the road. Perhaps you could go further and answer why every insurance company's premiums are less for senior citizens as opposed to young people. It takes all types to make a society and denigrating one group because of extreme ignorance and a preconceived notion of self speaks volumes about the person who holds those views. Often, these people are aptly described as arrogant phallus-ends or those engaged regularly in self flagellation. Perhaps you might look into it. To the OP, have a look at the auctions as Telstra have a number of station wagons regularly coming up at places like Pickles and Fowles.
