: Even $22.5k is still fairly good. It has some pretty good mods in it. The gearbox is worth anywhere between $4-6k alone and has a STi 2.5lt engine block. That thing would be very fast!

It doesn't have wheels but does over 200mph on the water with 2 V8's. The speed is awesome! James Bond, eat your heart out.

Here's an interesting video on how a bloke has discovered the possible way England's Stonehenge was built. He uses simple gravity and blocking techniques to lift up blocks over 10tonne in weight to build a replica

There is a website that shows how he does it all too, it's underneath the desciption at the side of the youtube video

I'de like to see him do the egyptian pyramid replica once he starts that, he'd be using $1000's worth of concrete blocks though

I used to have one of those while living in Europe. They don't come with MI16 from the factory, you have to convert them and it is a very tight fit. Mine was fully rebuild with genuine parts. Blueprinted, cam gears, extractor, grp N exhaust, open air, chipped, front and rear strut braces, 306GTI-6 front brakes. 309GTI gearbox with 205 dieasel 5th gear. I only had it on the road for 5 months before we decided to come back here. It had 180bhp and managed a best of 6.5s for the dash to 100 and 14.5 for the quarter. That was in full street trim with full leather, sunroof and large audio setup. Love that car. Big grin factor, nothing better than messin around with M3's, WRX's and evo's on the freeway over there. They just couldn't believe the speed in such a little car. The most I ever had it up to was 230 and it was still pulling (rpm limiter set to 8200) but you could hear the doors getting sucked open at 210km/h

Link to Ebay US - possibly the hottest Mustang I've seen(being re-made by Gene Winfield).

Love the question for a $150k car!

Jerremy clarkson says that on really twisty roads the 205 gti would still be one of the quickest cars from A to B, as you can see under brakes and quick directional changes against the evo that he's spot on. once the V8s or turbos get a decent straight they'll crap on it, but when it gets tight they are insanely fast

My best friend used to have one (factory motor) with a full exhaust. It was the most fun on four wheels through the bendy stuff - nothing could stay with it. I have a real soft spot for these little beasts.
