It's pretty whack using technology from the 21st century. You will be driving and like magic out of nowhere a voice will speak and say whatever the alert is as you are approaching. "Speed camera ahead"

Then on the screen it will have two 'buttons' to either confirm the alert is still active or it is no longer relevant. You can also ignore it completely and not give any feedback.
It's about as dangerous as listening to the radio and then changing the preset channel.

Stop making up garbage about driving around looking at phones

Noticed 3 fixed cameras on the Calder freeway between Kyneton and Melbourne, inbound. Are they new?! They are the oblong shaped ones. Amigo didn't alert, and I've never noticed them before. Or they might be cameras to catch mobile phone use?

First one was a strange one, just a single camera on a pole on the side of the road. The next two were overhead, but they had only one oblong camera in the right hand lane, and a smaller square shaped one on the left. They are definitely not the traffic condition monitoring cameras.

In between the 3 cameras was also a mobile camera unit. . Must be a cash cow that stretch.

Yeah they're new, except for the ones near Gisborne have been there for a few years now.

Also heavy rotation of mobile cameras all along the whole 135km between Keilor Park and Bendigo, and the odd highway patrol speed trap near Calder Park BP inbound.

Its a divided, dual lane freeway that goes for 135km between Keilor Park and Kangaroo Flat, its hardly 'safety' to be booking people for 113 in a 110 zone

AH fudge! Avg speed cameras.... Been along that road quite a few time since Jan, very strange that I haven't noticed them before.

So many convoys just doing 105 in the 110 zone there. So to get past them you need to get up a little...expecting a possible 2nd letter in the mail now. (good news is first one hasn't arrived)

Princess Fwy was gunna get em at one stage .... dunno how true it was or if it still will?.
