I thought it was fake when i first saw it. Our friends recently went to Africa and they were in a village when a human was cut out of a snake, they said it was crazy.

When you see them, you think that what you are seeing is just not possible! A person?? Don't doubt that for a second! I'm really surprised that the snake went through with eating the croc... the first thing they do when people are around is regurgitate their stomach to get out of the area. Must have had a decent zoom lens, or a snake that wasn't bothered with people around.

nice link but i'd be questioning that they would 'normally' eat rats in that area.
I saw another snake story yesterday, about how all these people in qld stopped to watch a snake eat a possum. I must admit that snakes eating largeish meals is a weekly happening here, but are people really that disconnected from nature that it becomes a news item?

Wish they'd eat a few more around this place, might help the barramundi numbers a bit.
Also a news item about the croc taking the barra off of a line at Newells Beach. |

I lost count of the amount of Barra i lost to crocs when i lived in NQ. Granted i was fishing a lot during the seasons but it still used to annoy the crap out of me. Especially when fishing for big ones and having a 100 pound leader and almost getting pulled in the water when a croc decided the barra was a tasty morsel. Had to get my mate to quickly cut the line, would have been expensive if the rod when with it.
