As the title says my falcon is making a creaking noise at a stop the sound is coming from the left rear of the car when just playing with the brake (not even in motion). I'm completely lost lol

That's normal esp with high metallic type pads..
You'll find its moving ever so slightly ..

I get that from the brakes if I let them off very slightly, can't remember going in a car that doesn't do it.

How much material is left on the rear pads?
It's not "squealers" or the start of metal against metal is it?

If it's that kinda graunching noise you get when, say if you come to a stop, then let off the brakes slightly, but with your foot still just on the pedal - That's completely normal. All cars do it. Some louder than others depending on pad material etc as others have mentioned.

You think that's noisy, you should here the brake squeal our AUII wagon has, been like that since the local Ford dealer serviced it and changed them......... ( we get our cars serviced elsewhere after we were charged a few times for jobs they didn't do, or do properly )
