I'm guessing you saw the video, not just heard it? Because it's one of the most powerful music videos I've ever seen.

2 Michael Jackson - Don't stop till you get enough
3 House of Pain - Jump around

6 David Banner - Play

But what I listen to really depends on how I feel and the mood. Like with mates ill have more mid 90s to present rap and rnb, with the girl i like 70s and 80s funk and disco, or present rnb or punk. And by myself I'll feel like dance, techno, happy hardcore etc

This thread is pointless. I change what I listen to almost daily.
But if you must. It'd have to be something classic that you could never get sick of. So 60's-70's easy listening stuff. + Metallica, RHCP, Pink Floyd. Etc etc.

Yes, cheeky – I did in fact SEE the film clip as well as HEAR it! And you are right it is an absolutely moving video… There is a vulnerability in the Johnny Cash version that stirs me. Thank you for reminding me of how great this song truly is – I went out today and purchased my first Johnny Cash album which contains both this song and the clip and I love it… although the rest of the album is a bit sucky... maybe it will grow on me or then again maybe not.

I suppose that song really hit a nerve with Johnny Cash - a man who had lived a full life and realised his time was coming to an end and he was reflecting on it. So his version had his heart in it as well.
