Hey guys, I'm mainly interested in finding a project car, my mate is moving here next year and he wants to do up a project car from scratch, is there anywhere online, or say in Brisbane I could find myself a bunch of Shells to look at?

Knowing what sort of car it was would help a lot. But perhaps start at an auction and look at anything selling with no rego

Plenty of nice beaches out where you are. I'm sure if you look long and hard enough there will be a shell of the right design and size to suit your needs.

Gday Bloke, I live North coast 2. I change ebays search parameters to item nearest first and then search the whole car category for the first 4 or 5 pages with no search string. It brings up all vehicles and then you can sort them manually

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Rare-1974...item2a1d4667c6 love the hearse i sold a 289 zd hearse to a bloke in Melbourne back in 2007 originally came from Uralla NSW..... i wonder if he finished it?? The ad above is actually a good example of why I search the way I do..... the only reference to Ford in the search string is "LTD". How do sellers expect a buyer to find that without using V8 or Ford in the item title I will never know http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Mk1-Escor...item4165c6c13e escort might be a bit far away for you |

back on topic, why just a shell. a complete car will still be a project - it just has everything on it. no need to buy anything when you can just fix up what you already have . . . and that is a big enough job, trust me |

Obvious thought is go to a wrecker and have a look around. They often have complete cars for sale dirt cheap. If you're after a new shell then pick up unique cars or just parts. There are usually some guys in there selling new bare shells with all hang on panels.
