the show is improving, they are starting to gel a little more together as hosts. you guys talk like you have presented a show for 5 + years and are perfect. these guys are getting better not worse. the segments are smoother too. its not perfect but id rather 9 weeks of TGA and the 9 weeks of TG UK than only TG Uk and the other rubbish SBS airs. besides if they drop it you will have to find something else to whinge about. oh heck while im here - FWD falcon and marketing- theres a start

Then people complain about 4wd’s being on the show and outback scenery, oh noes, U.K. had 4wd’s and in Australia there is a whole lot of outback. Wait, did Topgear UK generally use anything other the motorways and alpine roads? But it’s easier for all these people to just whinge and moan rather then use their head and think about things.

If you dont like the show, then dont bloody watch it. I think its still pretty crap so I flick over to 2 and a half men whenever I get bored with it. Easy. I guarantee that 90% of the people saying its crap are still going to tune in next monday at 7.30, just to examine and read into every little thing they do.

Like some of the others have said, it is getting better and better. I find it amusing how people expected it to be a polished gem straight off the bat :

I’d rather have sharpened bamboo growing up my fingernails than watch The Car Show with him. I’m not really interested in watching a few blokes treat Astras with a total lack of respect. I see this every day on the road anyway. :hihi: This show is set at a certain demographic which may not be "full on" car enthusiasts. At the end of the day, if you don’t like it, don’t watch it. I don’t, however, I just look at a few bits and pieces on YouTube. In my opinion, if you want to watch decent cars shows, you can’t go past: Classis restos Gasolene In pit lane Cruizin Speedweek

I kind of wish SBS spent the money sponsoring and developing shows like cruzin, gasolene etc but I suppose there is no money in that. |

Could episode 4 be put on the "What were they thinking?" wall?
Its improving but the road tests need more substance and less 3rd year apprentice mechanic. Charlie needs a personality makeover, and the others will probably become more convincing as they relax a bit and figure out what to do.
