The apprentice mentioned in one of my previous posts (who's now our Workshop Manager) was getting a bus ready for its annual rego inspection, and after finishing the mechanicals, started on cleaning up the inside.
After cleaning all the windows he thought it would be a good idea to Armorall the seats. : When the bus returned to normal service the next day, the driver reported that there was an intermittent "thud" while negotiating tight corners. It was only when he heard the passengers gasp that he looked in the rear view mirror to find 2 little old ladies siting in the aisle, that they realised that maybe Armoralling the seats wasn't such a good idea. _

Back when I was at uni I used to work in an ophthalmic laboratory - basically a factory producing lenses for prescription specs. A fairly old fashioned trade so there was a couple of real old blokes that worked there.
Going down to the pub for a counter meal was the done thing with a few of us on a friday - plenty of pubs around this part of town.... including a pub renowned for its gay patronage. So one sunny Friday, one of the old boys asked us if we were going anywhere for lunch... "Sure lawry, meet us down at the *pub name censored* at 1 oclock". 1:15pm and a very angry, very confused lawry storms back into the lab. He never came out to lunch again ;)

Pure gold this stuff is, pure gold.
Only thing i can think of, is the Graduating soldiers from Kapooka, they make the beds for the newly arriving recruits, and they always Short sheet the beds, and do various other antics to make the newbies stay a good one.

After working at schools doing IT for a few years, i was sick of the usuall tactics from the students of swapping the keys over, pinching mouse balls etc.
Well, whilst still being a trainee myself, i was at the end of my traineeship, and was responsible to train the "new n00b", so i just couldnt help myself but to swap all the keys around on the keyboard to make his day hard, pinch his mouseball, bugger something up on the new system he had just setup then yell " you idiot! what the hell have you done!" , also my boss and i used to unscrew his chair wheels, just so they were at the point that he could sit down, but once he moved the chair would collapse. On another point, after we got sick of the kids stealing mouseballs, i was in charge of superlgluing all the mouse ball covers closed. It took me all day, as there were over 500 computers to do. Well, being near the end of the day, i got slack with it, and rushed the job. Hmm, Got to work the next day finding the last 100 computers i rushed in the afternoon, all had thier mouse stuck to the desk.. DAMMIT : |

Have to say if I did that I wouldn't have a job left because none of my managers would find it funny for starters and I don't have that much time on my hands. Funny shit but. :

Ah well, i didnt get in trouble for it.
The latest one we did - we have a cardboard compactor at work, basically yuo just chuck it all in down this big long chute. I got a bottle of tomator sauce and let it smear all over the bottom of the chute and around the entrace to it, and got one of those cards that screams every time you open in - stuck that to the door. The 'blood' and the 'screaming' every time someone operated the machine certainly got some interesting results.
