Thumbs up Shell v power racing 100

used shell v power racing on the weekend in my 1967 XR falcon racecar thought it was great ,i know a lot of servos dont have it but try it it seems to be good .I used it in my engine that is 11:7 to 1 compression with Martini super boost addative it woked fine no pinging at all and i was giving the car heaps .A lot of servo s have been on back order so it took a while to find it but heres a link to thye sevos that have it

it not normal V power its V power racing

I rate the stuff very highly. The GT loves it, mates XR8 loves it, the missus car doesn't notice it (V6 Bora). Very noticeable change in engine smoothness & exhaust note.

We don't even have a Shell servo anymore. They pulled it down to make a busway that no body is going to use.

Not meaning to hijack this thread, but something i have noticed with shell that appears to be sneaky is how they use different colours for the different products.
For instance the Yellow nozzle is Unleaded
the Red nozzle is V-Power
The green Nozzle at some servo's is the E-10 blend and 3 cents per litre cheaper than Unleaded
But at the rest of the shell servo's the Green nozzle is Unleaded 95 (the old premium) and about 4-5 cents more expensive.

They get you used to one thing and without even noticing if you don't look properly you have chosen the Unleaded 95 unwittingly.

Might want to be careful with the V-power racing, could be the same kind of deal.

nb. I am not out to start a debate about the grade of fuel used just the marketing ploys used by Shell

ACT has it in 2 spots - not available enough to get it tuned with 100 though.

where about in ACT can you get the 100octane? I use Caltex premium gold in my 06 Yamaha R6, most other fuel is terrible for my bike, cant stand using Shell. Funny how it is good in cars but bike doesnt like it at all!

^^ Shell Dickson & Shell Waniassa (just off Athlon Drive). Look out for the bowsers with V-Power Racing on them.

The V-Power Racing is really good. Even a 1.6l 4cyl. car can get performance benefit from it.

I think we only have recently gotten 98 RON in WA...or at least caltex has just started running it, been noticing a lot of advertising for it at the servos.

yeah it is confusing as the V power and the V power Racing have red handles on the pump but the V Power Racing has a red thing on the nozzle
