A luxury sports car costing upwards of $350,000 has been left anything but the beautifully engineered road beast it is after it was crashed into by a car allegedly driven by a 14-year-old boy.

Police believe the driver of a yellow Lamborghini Urus was in the wrong place at the wrong time when they were taken out at the intersection of Birdwood Avenue and Bland Street.

It is understood no one injured in the prang.

A spokesman said officers were scouring Como just after 8pm after reports a white Subaru Forester stolen from Stirling earlier this month had been sighted.

Authorities say the car was eventually spotted in a driveway on Birdwood Avenue, with police in a marked Hilux parking up behind it.

“As officers exited the Hilux it will be alleged the Forester reversed at speed, crashing into the rear pod section,” a WA Police spokesman said.

“The Forester then continued west on Birdwood Avenue where it crashed with a yellow Lamborghini at the intersection of Bland Street.”

The Lamborghini Urus, according to multiple Australian online car guides, is worth more than $350,000.

A 14-year-old boy was arrested nearby after allegedly fleeing the scene.

Among charges laid against the teen was two counts of stealing a motor vehicle and three counts of stealing.

He will appear in Perth Children’s Court today.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers.
