I am not sure if this happens to anyone else, but I need some advice. A guy at my work is always raving on about how good his car and how it would beat anything and bla bla bla. This guy is old enough to be my dad, maybe late 40s early 50s, and he doesn't let anyone get a word in when talking about cars. He acts like an expert because he is an old guy.
He drives and 2005 BA GT. Its stock. Its not bad, but he thinks because its a V8 and loud, that its actually quick. I have an 2011 FG F6. Now he says he would blow me away because he has a V8 and its better and quicker than 6 cylinders. How do I explain to this old guy that technology has changed and I probably have a quicker car than him. I have offered to race him at the drags so its all legal but he reckons only young hoons go there and he doesn't need to race me to know he has the quickest car at work. What do you guys think would be the best way I could shut this old guy up and prove him wrong? |
