Default Advice on new job

G'day all, i just got offered a job (my first actually) and i need some opions on it. Ive been talking to my parents and friends, but still, the more advice the better i believe.

The job is as a door to door salesman (dont flame me : ) with an internet company (prefer not to say who, but if u are wondering just pm me). Basically its like this. I get 100bux per sale, and need to sell atleast three per week. But oviously, the more, the better it is for me.

The few concerns i have are
1. There is no base, so can i make, or rather are enough people willing to purchase to give me a sufficant income
2. The long hours for the money if times are tough
3. Any violence that i may encounter on the job

What are your thoughts on this
