OK so I am planning an extended holiday in Tassie within the next couple of weeks and would like to take my Alfa down with me to work on.
Currently it is unregistered and has no rego. Now in VIC I can get a temp permit to drive it to Point A to Point B to get work done, and I have done so before without a worry. What happens if Point B happens to be in Hobart? Is it simply seeing what laws Tasmania has (??), maybe another permit there? I have looked at enclosed transport and the best quote I can find is around $1200...Ive calculated that it would cost me around $500 to drive it myself including Ferry etc Anyone done an interstate drive before with such a scenario?
