Post Catalytic converter fixed (about time)

Last Friday dropped my car off to the Ford dealership to get the cat done on my Ford Focus (LR), after leaving it there for the whole day, I asked them how long did it take to change? The manager said 1 hour. So what I would like to know is why they keep cars for the whole day? It wastes my time by not having a car and it also wastes there space. You think they could also wash my car while its just sitting there, but never happened. But the new one is in. Doesn't rattle no more. Just the clutch does, which means I have been doing to many rev and dumps but I will soon fix that. I get better fuel consuption too, and a beefy exhaust note to boot! The only thing I can complain about is the Ford Dealership not getting the right cat in the first place and waiting another week for the right one, and having my car for 9 hours when its only a 1 hour job
