Hi all,
I am picking up my new car tomorrow and now have to get rid of the old one. Its a 96 EL Fairmont with Dual fuel 270000km's. tow ball. XR steering wheel. Interior not too bad. Engine runs fine, no noises. Now the bad. Gearbox has a slight noise in it when under load and has never had a major service. Paintwork is pretty bad, the QLD sun has killed it. Tyres need replacing, has Ghia rims has a slight oil leak which is so slight I only noticed it when I didnt use the car for 6 weeks when I was away an when I got back and moved it there was a small oil stain on my driveway. Anyway what I would like to know is should I just take it to the wreckers and see what they would give me for it or should I advertise it for sale (unregistered). Im in QLD so you can sell unregistered without RWC Whats it worth? |
