Default Modern Day Mad Max

I was just thinking (I know I should not do that too often as it will over heat my one brain cell).

What vehicle would they use today if they made Mad Max today? Would it still be a classic piece of heavy duty Aussie muscle or would they go for a more recent piece of hi-tech muscle? Would they go for (dare I say it?) a Holden? Would they get a current four door modified into a coupe?

What do you think?
