I picked up a Nespresso maker at Christmas and I know some people think the idea of the makers is that it's a waste of money and effort, but I'm really loving the option of being able to make a different coffee each time. Out of the 16 main blends, I so far have only found one I don't really like. At between 68 cents and 78 cents a capsule, I don't think the price is too bad. Considering my morning coffee at work I pay $3.80, this works out quite a bit cheaper. I know it's more expensive than coffee like Nescafé, but with the Nespresso maker your not limited to the same coffee for next 100 - 200 cups. I think this is what appeals more to me.
Anyone else have one of these machine's. For the record, I picked up the base model (Essenza EN90) with free milk frother. Cash back offer sees the unit costing $188. It came with a sample pack which includes one each of the 16 flavours. |
