Default Motor's VF commodore prediction

What do you think Motor Mag's photoshop prediction of the next commodore?

Personally, i don't like it's looks, but i think it'll grow on me.

I think they are a bit off what the result will be, the wheel arches will be smaller and I reckon it will have the new global chevy front look - which has the grille continuous connecting the whole width between the front headlights like on the Impala and Traverse

That design looks way too... pansy. The current VE SS looks a lot more aggressive, so I doubt that would girl it down THAT much.

First thing I thought of was a C-Class Merc (AMG) - maybe it's the ridges in the bonnet, the grill area, not sure.

Not sure if that is on purpose or not - but doesn't look too bad for me.

What I do wonder about - is what HSV would do to it - cos that could go either way...

Looks shocking. Doubt it will look anything like that.

Looks like something out of the movie CARS.

turbodewd, "If there was no Falcon Id consider it" you may be close to the future with that comment. Ford employees stood down for lack of components, 2 liter "Falcon" People who should know saying things indicating the big Falcon on the way out. Hmmm. I'm an old Aussie who grew up with Falcons, Holdens, Chryslers and big pommie cars. Most of them are gone. Them that's left are leaning too far toward "pansie", even with large, high KW motors etc.

Hmm. Well the Falcon is the only one of the 'big three' to still be around. Back in the 70s the cars were much closer to each other; there wasn't really all that much in it (although the Fords did look so much cooler). These days, the Falcon is so far ahead of the Commodore in every respect that it confuses me why the Commodore sells so much better. The difference was never larger than in the AU vs. VT era IMO.

I doubt it will look like that. All Motor have done is put a cruze front bar on a VE with DRL and given it a bonnet bulge

That front does not fit the rest of the car...

If anything, the grill will be more sqaure...

There is a bit of Malibu in it though...mainly headlights...so it may not be too far from the truth.

Exactly.
Motor have no way of knowing what the next commodore will look like. Must've run out of things to fill the front cover, so let's get our photoshop guy to whip up a quick picture of a car similar to the VE to get people to read our magazine and call it the VF.

In saying that though Ill be my left nut that GMH send MOTOR/WHEELS "spy" shots to stir up anticipation and keep them in the spotlight.

Perhaps Ford does it too, but no where near to the same level.

Wouldn't suprise me, but this website did turn up some interesting actual photographs of what could be a possible VF, or a VE.

This site is about as useful as pedals on a wheelchair, there is absolutely no useful information and the pictures which claim to be VF spy shots are just VE's.
