Metro Ford FG2 CLEARANCE Sale???

I got an email from Metro Ford Brisbane that they are having a FG2 Leap Year CLEARANCE sale !!!
XR6 $36950. XR6T $49950. G6E $46950. G6E Turbo $46950.. XR6 Ute$33450,
all prices are drive away.
The average punter wouldn't even know the FG2 is available,yet Metros have stock ????

Nothing special about those prices if they are accurate.

FG Mk2 has been out for a while and most dealers should have stock by now. I have seen s few on the road already.

They have been advertising them in the Carsguide of the Saturday Courier Mail. Denmac Ford has got plenty of FG2's in stock too. Checked them out the other day.

TJM in Toowoomba had a G6E mk2 which they put a bullbar on this week. They have about 40-50 Rangers go through there shop all getting bullbars, they throw every bumper out and i mean every one fog lights included

All the Ford dealers I drive past in Sydney seem to have all FGII on show & none (or maybe just one) FGI around... Just hope the have costomers coming in saying "I want an Falcon please!!"

Brismike..Denmacs have none on display. The front row of the lot is all, Fiesta, Focus, Mondeo or Ranger. You would think they would have the FG2 on prominent display ????? I drive past Denmacs everyday, haven't seen one FG2 on prominent display????? strange ??

plus the fact that even at those prices the dealers would have a minimum of 2 grand in the deal

That's fantastic value for the XR6T. My EF XR8 was more than that with options in 1995!

You must be blind... They have 4 or 5 on the front row, white G6E, havana G6, Blue XR6 and a few XT's!

DashGT..On my home from work,this morning, thats what I saw, driving past. I'll stop and have a closer look. But nothing stood out as FG2....

Yes, the Darra Denmacs..front row facing footpath, Moorooka yard ,same thing nothing stands out as FG2...Whereas Motorama Holden, just down the road, has a good selection in sight.....as you drive past...

They definitely have FG2s facing the footpath at Darra.. have had for 3 weeks atleast.... Theres a white G6E and a Havana brown G6... They have FG1's next to them.

Moorooka is supposed to be a used dealership only.. It was set up as used only therefore they hold very little new stock.

Remember Bryan Byrt own them now and they are the biggest dealer in QLD, if you go down the back of Darra theres probably 50 - 60 FG2's, but they have to sell the FG1's first... Its not like your going to move the old stock to the back of the yard and put the new stock at the front, just not viable. FIFO (First in, First out).

Well I got out of my car and had a good look at the FG2's they have got . . Parked next to some FG1's . . That was about a week ago now though.

Maybe they have sold them lol.

Went past denmac darra and moorooka last night, both dealerships had several FG2s on the front line. Darra had 2 XT's, 2 XR's and the white G6E I have previously spoken about... Parked on the front row towards the kenworth end of the dealership.
