Default CHI -texas off topic

For those of you who would like to see a link that was passed on to me with pictures of the coast of texas and galvaston texas.
I had no idea it was that bad, News organizations were told not to air footage of the damage , well we all know things get out, like pictures.
this is 100 miles away from me.

Those pictures leave me lost for words....

It's amazing, some places the grass has been ripped from the ground, and then next to it a lone house that still stands proudly amongst hundreds of fallen brethren...

I really don't mean to make this into a funny thing or anything because what happened to those people was horrible and I wouldn't wish it on anyone..but did anyone happen to see these.....

One can imagine if we get a similar event like this anywhere along the North west or Eastern seaboards - say, ummm, Gold Coast et al - how we'd fare?!

From page 1 of that link - anyone note the horse and house surrounded now by sea?
