Assuming cars are in identical condition I'd get the AU
I much prefer AU's to BA's I might be a freak though, but that's my opinion |

G'day.....watch this....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NlqUZ6OwKw8 .I own a liquid silver AU2 Futura Classic SOHC 4.0 ...Bought it in 2003 when it was just two years old..It's the only car I've NEVER wanted to get rid of.. I also have a 2003 BA Fairmont Ghia..DOHC ...4.0 litre..sequential transmission..lovely car...apart from a dead CD Stacker...electric everything , goes great but the dear old silver AU is my favourite...I never ever get sick of driving her...the engine is SO SWEET it's ridiculous...and has a gutsy growl from an exhaust change different to a bog standard system...A great condition AU is a worthy car for anyone...Cheers Rod (Tasmania)..

au
not classified as the nicenesed falcon to look at (mind you i like the xr look) but has to be one of the best to drive also look after it cause give it 20/30 years and you'll be selling for a profit

I have a BA XR6, Mate has AU111 XR6. BA is nice but I would take the AU if in the same condition. Nice problem to have though

The only thing to really consider is condition, condition, condition.
Either Falcon would be nice, just get the best one you can afford. I have owner a few of each, currently have an AU Fairmont that I am really happy with. Probably the best buy on the market these days and very underrated. Cheers |

Seeing as it's been 4 years since the OP posted his question, he's probably off his 'P's and driving a GT now
