anything from $1 - $10,000 depending on conditon and specs

you might need to provide a tad more detail
and maybe some pics to get an accurate evaluation mate

From where I'm sitting, it looks like a damn nice car.
So I guess it's for sale then?
how much?

Could be a tad expensive, once you add freight, duties etc.
Depends what you want to do with it.
If it's for a restoration project, then it's a really good car to start with.
If it's gonna go to RHD, and modded, then I'd go for something cheaper, but there aren't too many around on US eBay these days.

i would leave it LHD and do a restore on it - but i am having trouble deciding if its costing too much - i have been looking for one of these for a while- i have seen them range from $750 to $30K US but was unsure what they r worth out here- This car is a one owner -unmolested in any way-

You could get a reasonable Mustang for that. Long term it may be a better investment. However....looks like a nice ride!!!!!

No way. Stef by it. It will be worth more than a mustang in the long run. There where few two door 66 sports coupe made than bloody Mustangs. For the money it is dam cheap. I know the one in Cranbourne and you would be better of bringing that one over.

I agree BJ.

There are that many Mustangs out there, they are as common as BA Falcons and Commodore's now :

That car looks real good, but do some checking with the ebay member before bidding.

And most of all, dont be like all the other sheep out there, buy a car that you will enjoy and look great :

Oh yeah, i do like Mustangs, its just that i like cars that are not so common :

Stef,

i think it is a very reasonable price based on that picture. You would never get a Mustang in anywhere close to that condition for price, and I would dare say it would get registered with minimal mods based on looking at it.

My $0.02 worth...

Cheers,

Hally

If it was me, I'd be checking the one out in Cranbourne first.
If I was importing one, I'd be looking for a 4 speed Sports Coupe. Don't know about this one with 3 on the tree..... although it looks good on the eBay listing.....but nothing special with a 3 speed.

Is that car on ebay? I'd be suspecting a scam if it is.

Yeah, here it is.
Problem might be that the seller has no rating.

Contact one of the local shipping companies, there are a few who specialise in EBay purchases and do all the US organising. May save you headaches about being ripped off or use a third party for the transfer, for a few dollars same deal.

My book states production figures for 1967 as follows:
2 dr Falcon, 16082
2 dr Futura, 6287
2 dr Sports Coupe, 7053.
Not really that rare, but I would reckon that most would have bitten the dust long ago.

pretty rare cars as they were just used as daily hacks most of the neglectedand run down .couple of mates have been looking for a while to find good ones but there isnt that many around or they are top dollar

the one in the pic is a steal at that price have seen a lot worse than that go for heaps more

efgtho $ 1 - 10 000 you would be luky to get one landed here in ok condition for that

classic xt everybody has mustangs ,i think he wants to be different and rightly so

these cars are unique and horny as !!! STEF to answer your question i just sold my 67 club coupe today and am somewhat regretting it but i have other projects on the go ,the one in the photo is dam cheap but i would investigate properly .Mine was a club coupe 67 with sports coupe interior ,in undercoat,289 windsor,c 4 auto,8 3/4 " diff ,Convo pro wheels ,RHD,regestered 18 500 no rwc

They stand out more than a Mustang with their unique style as not many people have seen one .the comments i used to get when i drove mine were amusing ,how did ya weld the doors up you cant even tell, how did ya do it ,can you build me one ,so i got the rego plates USCOOP which stopped a few of the stupid questions .I had a lot of fun in mine pitty i didnt get to finish it but was a gem of a car but i still have the other cars

i also have an origanal sales brochure if you want i could scan it for you

there is no such thing as an XR COUPE (sorry for getting picky )

here is a link to a picture of mine
http://www.fpvxrclub.com/photos/thumbnails.php?album=77

buy it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stef,

I have Issue 20 of 'Street Fords', there is a feature on an XR Sports Coupe which is one of the nicest old Fords I've ever seen. PM me a mailing address and I'll stick in in the post for you, and good luck with the purchase!
