Default GT4, Fastest Typhoon 1/4 mile
Well after about an hour last nite i got my 749kw Typhooninto the 9's, a 9.991 to be exact.
I will take a pic tomorrow.

Any one else got any quick times?

so what you reckon about the game...is it worth going out and buying it or just stick with GT3??

GT3 is old School Dave, get with the times.

My BAGT is a slug, even with a blower and 650 odd kw, it wont go any faster than a 10.5.

Me and phantom got a 10.03 the other night in the typhoon, after 1st getting a 11.3 you can fiddle with the boost settings, gearbox ratio's and weight distribution to get it lower

Didnt get a 9 though!

yup...but you got to play around with it's settings and find at what revs you can use it without wheelspin

Tried the same tricks with the s/c nitrous SS Commy...could only manage a mid to high 10 from memory

These are my GT4 1/4 mile times.
Turbo AU XR8 did a 9.66 on the 1/4
Boosted typhoon, did a 9.71 on the 1/4
Supercharged GT did a 9.72 on the 1/4
N/A Monaro did 9.79 on the 1/4
N/A SS did a 9.90 on the 1/4
N/A GT did a 9.97 on the 1/4
Superchared SS did a 10.20 on the 1.4 (Don't understand this one)

Trade in 3 and buy 4 for sure.

A guy at work who's played it way more than me (i'm only finding out how much I suck at licences again...) reckons the cars dynamics and handling is way better in 4 than 3.

havent run my typhoon down the 1/4 mile yet, but i have a nice little car up my sleeve for the drag comp which should start in a few days

its worth having over GT3, but its not too different imo....much better selection of cars, and even though there is better options, you have to buy the fords!

ive got a typhoon, ran about a 13.7 stock, and with current mods (not many) it does a 13 flat.
