Jack Russel named Eric, he was so fat when we got him and Cartman just didn't seem to suit. Get weird looks but the name suits him

I had a bulldog/bull terrier cross ( ended up being a lab/cattle/bull terrier ) named Moose. Told my g/f at the time i named Moose after her because she was so cute, it was quiet the opposite.

My family has had a theme of naming all our pets starting with a Z.

Zack
Zamber
Zulu
Zimba
Zoe
Zephyr
Zelda

You get the point! It's come to an end though....

One of our current cats is called, Puff, named after my Grandmother's nick-name that one of my stirring uncles taught all the great grandchildren to call her, affectionately (Puff the Magic Dragon!). I got a Jack Russel at the beginning of the year and named him, Ranger. It just suits him so well!!

friend had a staffy, called it diesel, yes he was a diesel mechanic.

my dog got called ziggee... and here's useless and interesting coincidence its ok those that have me on ignore will not see it...

bought mine, a ridge back called her ziggee, 3 weeks later a work colleague at my mothers work, bought a ridge back and guess what called it ziggee!! my mother did not have the heart to tell her, that I had done it 3 weeks earlier as she was so excited about it<--- enter twilight zone theme. this was in QLD, and we all know they all do the same thing, no one thinks for them selves!! up there ;)

3 Greyhounds from the Greyhound Adoption Program, all litter sisters, all different colours, Jenni red fawn, Cindi-Lou black and white, Kelli blue brindle and a give-away whippet called Bindi pale red fawn.
Greyhounds are truely heartwarming creatures, if you have had contact with them you will know what I mean.

I was going to call my dog fan belt, or possibly radiator coolant. But since its a dog i chose to stick with a doggish name.

I bought a cat 7 years ago (Still got her) from the pound. Desexed + Chip (Unsure whether this chip is aftermarket, but it goes OK!).
Her name on the cage was Polly?? I thought that was a name for parrots?
Anyway, kept her and and the name!

My Bullmastiff is called Booda. He was so fat and round when he was a puppy that he looked like buddah so thats what we called him. We really call him Bood and Boo now though.

I recently bought a dog and named him Buford, but he is often more affectionately known as Lumpy.

Buddha is not fat. You are thinking of Hotei, who is fat, but is misconceived by western bogans as Buddha or the "Laughing Buddha" by other ignorant people who think they are enlightened. He is in Japan considered one of the Japanese Luck Gods, or Kami's in Shinto Dogma. His origins are based on an Eccentric Zen priest of the late Tang dynasty in China. He walked around to collect offering with a huge bag while showing a big belly and slept in the snow. He was considered a reincarnation of Miroku Bosatsu and included among 18 rakan and 7 fortune gods (shichifukujin) as a god of abundance.

I have a border collie called Muddy, and a cat called Scarlet O Hara (She was a stray..... you know 'as god is my witness she'll never go hungry again)

Im low on pets now I live in town :voldar02: Muddy has now retired and lives with mum and dad, he took to retirement very well, he went from being a muscley whippet to having a back so wide you could set it and use it as a table top. Quite funny seeing such a fat collie. :evil_laug

Now my actual reason for posting!

3 dogs
Maxi
(named after the way female Kaos agents used to try to woo Maxwell Smart)
Albert
(named after Fat Albert show as the puppy was quite chubby)
Lucky
(named as he was a stray and I thought he was Lucky we found him, and we were Lucky to get him!)

BTW I don't actully believe in luck per se, but you get the idea!
