Check out this page on Panteras.
Some awsome engine combos in some of these cars. There is a sound file for a stroked 425 cube Windsor. Others include: Pantera with on 98 miles on it. Pantera with 396 cube running Haltech Injection http://www.panteraplace.com/page39.htm http://www.panteraplace.com/Pantera%...antera_425.mp3 |

I was lucky enough to drive a Pantera on a semi regular basis, a friend of a friend owned a very nice red GT5 that we would take for nice little trips down the Great Ocean Road.
We'd take a day off in the middle of the week, get the car early and have a great trip down to Apollo Bay for a mid morning pie and milkshake at the old bakery. Then we'd take the Cape Otway Road back to Geelong. Lovely memories of a fantastic motor car. My mate was driving one night and we had an impromtu high speed drag against an XY GT (HO, Fake, I don't know) but late at night on a very lonely road the XY was left for dead. No mention of speed as it's anti-social, but suffice to say it was fast! |
