This road has claimed countless lives in the past and i cant beleive it isnt policed more than it is. Any body have any details about this morning's event?
i know it had at least 1 fatality and the road was closed for a period of time.

The reason its not policed is theres no money in it. It isn't used by enough cars there for not enough reviue...

The amount of trucks that use Picton Road is astonishing. It is a busy road.
I used to live at Camden and used that road quite often ... and the amount of people that speed along there is crazy too. I think it's definitely a road that the cops would make a hell of a lot of money on with speeding drivers. Have had a few close calls with sleepy truck drivers on the wrong side of the road between Picton and Mt Keira.
