Default What does your missus/bloke think of your car?

As the title says what do they reckon? My missus hates mine because "it's too loud, goes too fast, is hard to drive and costs too much" so I chose option 4.

I couldnt see the option that said "resents the time and effort that goes into the car and cant understand why anyone would want to play with cars."

She has me confussed on this issue
when she was useing my XE as a daily driver she loved it
when I brought the AU she decided that she hated my XE

She has always hated my Dodge but now has done a backflip on that
and cant wait for it to be finished so that we can go out in it. :

Christine is'nt into cars at all but since the first time I took her for a drive she loves it,it's like being on an easter show ride the way it turns her stomache she says, she also likes all the attention we get, people taking photo's and video when were out in it,she hates how much I spend on it though, she reckons the money would be better spent buying her clothes :

For as long as the missus and I have been together, I've bought all her cars. She loves them until I buy my cars.

edit - Work has always helped me with mine though!

My ex would pack it full of C4 and make sure that no part is identifiable via forensic methods.

I guess that’s why she is an ex.....

You need to get onto that straight away! Mine was a Holden fan, her whole family is Holden crazy, nearly all of them race Holdens..... then I married their daughter. I converted her very quickly, now she won't even let them park in our driveway when they visit!

That's my missus problem, at her work the company cars are BA XR6's, VZ SV6's and Mitsu 380 VRX's. And her favorite out of them she told me, to my horror, is the VRX followed by the SV6! Fortunately she has a bit of taste and likes her brothers BA Futura.

The 380 is a suprise, particularly from a woman. When I drove one I had to press my ear to the roof to park it! You too need to fix the situation, constant bagging of other cars should do the trick eventually.

Mine loves it.

Mind you, when it comes to cars I've brain-washed her beyond belief....

"we HAVE to get a flash tuner, or the warranty will be void":

and

"we MUST get a postitive displacement supercharger to lower fuel costs and make the engine last longer":

She's not a short lady, about 5'7" and she says she has no problem seeing out of it. Not as easy as my car but still not too bad.

My Missus hates my EA with a passion. Has driven it twice, when I had a few too many at a BBQ. She thinks it's too big (The car, that is) and is ugly as! She drives an automatic hyundai excel. All her family have commodores and none are mechanically minded or understand the need to tinker!

^^haha GMH8TR..ive kinda got a similar story.

My GF knows how to pick every e series, and can even spot the difference between ea's and ebs, which impresses me now..lol..."theres those ugly vents (c pillar)."

She doesn't know much about pre 1989 or so, have to work on that. But everything from EA onwards is good, even spots differences in AU series...lol

And she knew nothing, I mean NOTHING about cars previously. I really should pay attentio to stuff she likes...lol

Hmmm, priorities of life.
1. Cars
2. Fishing
3. Women

Any woman that prevents me from doing 1 or 2 is not worth it so I move on to the next. Its a pre-requisite, so I'll vote "Love It" everytime...

I couldn't stand a woman who would hate my car. Its my pride and joy, its kept me sane (she will probably drive me insane). Thats why I am single I guess.

Ex used to like the accelleration, but always felt safe with me driving. She hated driving it because she could barely see over the wheel, but loved the power hehe.

When we bought ours we were choosing between a fairmont and XR6, she drove both and reckoned she didn't care either way. She drives it mostly and was always chuffed when people asked about it. I try to get her to take the smaller car because of fuel costs, which she gripes about but she won't. I guess she likes it.
