It will send this message: http: //home.earthlink.net/~gallery10/omg.pif lol! see it! u'll like it Its a virus...DONT ACCEPT IT by clicking on it.

Sure is on the loose, anyone know how the hell it infects on MSN?
And as to why a company can't virus scan files uploaded to their servers is beyond me. |

OK anything ending in ".pif" DO NOT ACCEPT!
They come as files from your contacts, I just got one titled "Topless in a miniskirt.pif" and "Jennifer Lopez.pif" |

i clicked on it earlier tonight... doh. and it sent to other people on my list.. i didnt think anything of it because it came from a friend, and i virus scanned it first to make sure. hope it didn't do anything too bad.

I got it from falkeen, and clicked it, but lucky im running firefox so it asked me to wanna save it, i clicked no.

I read on my anti-virus website that it can come through emule as well.

yea a friend of mines got it also. And it keeps tryin to send it to me so i blocked her lol. Can be called absolutly anything so im not excepting practically anything to comes throught for the time being

I havnt had a virus in ages, and I got what I consider the best anti-virus on the market (PC-Cillin Internet Security 2005) so hopefully I'm pretty well set up against them.
You'd think MSN would take down the service for a while so the can block the virus spreading or something, like they had to do with the display picture vunerablity. |

has anyone got the removal tool from symantec? not that i got it just cos a friend has it and pretty sure there is/was a tool for removing the msn virus.
