Was supposed to get it the other week but a belt snapped so hopefully if he gets a chance it'll be fixed sometime this week. Without pushing the tune it's making big power.

AFAIK AAMI send all customers under 25 to Just Car Insurance, they're like AAMI's 'Young & Performance Driver' arm...

Yea Just car's is there dedicated modified/performance arm. They won't touch me either, NRMA and just car's are the only one's who would for a stock car. I highly doubt nrma would bother with it now, if they did i'd hate to see the premium it was $55oo for a stockie.

Mine is covered for market value at $45,ooo, i bought it new. It's up again soon so i hope it drops alittle this year. ALthough just car's dont cover the price of mods.............

35, rating 1 for life, Auto & General - $1270 (Revesby, Sydney)
2003 BA XR8, no mods and market value, only over 30 drivers.
These guys were at least $500 less than anyone else. Insurance in Sydney sucks.

Thought i would go to couple of sites and get some quotes for comparison reasons

Here's what i found

I'm 31 Rating 1 with no loss of licences etc
Car quoted for was a brand new XR6T

AAMI $ 600 Insured for $42000
RACQ $ 965 Insured for Market Value
SUNCORP $1130 Insured for $55000 Agreed Value
NRMA $1150 Insured for $62500 Agreed Value
SHANNONS $1540 Insured for $50000 Agreed Value

Now there are a lot more companies you could go through besides these but this was to give you an idea of what to expect

My pick out of these would have to NRMA as they let you insure your vehicle for whatever value you state on policy unlike others where i was restricted

My second pick out of these would have to be SHANNONS though as they will allow the modifications that will surely come from owning one of these cars
