Hmmm it would appear so.

I do not understand WHY THE flippen h3ll people think it looks good, I mean come on .. it is seriously ridiculous, and if you notice most of the drivers are retarded. Most the sensible and intelligent holden drivers use other aftermarket kits or jsut lower their cars with wheels. Even the horrible C2R kit is better then getting a VT-VZ HSV kit on a 6 cylinder VN or even VLs !!! ... :S ..

my 3 and a half cents

martO

EDIT: oh and to the original thread, thats pretty funny, but then it is slightly clever by sort of making a fake kit and knowing its fake, but with ecotec badges and the kit .. come on ! ... wait i just contradicted myself ... ahh well

Just another typical d|ckhead in a executive dressed up like a big man. They are a dime a dozen here in Cairns.

Sorry, but a turd wrapped in a turd, is still a turd.

I think it's quite a good effort! I swear I've seen another picture of this VL, but it didn't have the kit on the rear end so it looked really front-heavy.

Also I think close-up the bumper wasn't aligned right, with gaps & stuff.

I hope it's a turbo or an LS1 transplant! It would be such a waste otherwise :P

That red VL with the VY front lives around my area, and although i dont agree with what they've done, it looks a lot better seeing it in the metal.

And i agree with minge, if you take the time and effort to modify your car and your happy with it then thats all that matters. Yes there are some tools out there who just look like idiots (i.e ricers the vy kit on vn crew) but some people actually spend some time and effort on their cars to do something unique, instead of trying to be like everyone else
