West Coast for sure.
Can't figure the Saints out. That last half was a joke. If they had of put a few more players in the rear 50 they would of won that. Not that it matters, they would of got stomped next weekend. Ah well, I've still got Bathurst to look forward to..... |

You have to question West Coasts ability to play on the road, but I know It's the same for the Swans. However both teams will be soaking it up in Melbourne all week so the travelling factor won't be an issue.
Being a Mighty Hawks supporter and born in Melb I would have to go for the swans, I thought they played their GRAND FINAL against GEELONG but they proved me wrong. |

This is a very dissapointing way to find out The Mighty Adelaide Crows are out!
SO with a care factor of Zero for the West Coast and the fact that i got covered in every kind of food and beverage you can think of at the S.C.G. in 1998 when we knocked out the swans , I have to say I don't give a toss who wins. :thebirds:

I thought the game was on tonight. I forgot it was played in the west.
I wish Adelaide had won. I hate Sydney. Well actually i don't mind the team, i just hate their supporters. I remember when Sydney were crap before Barassi turned them around. No one would watch the swans play and no-one in Sydney gave them a 2nd thought. Soon as they started to win, they were the best team in the country. All their supporters came out of the wood work. Go the Eagles. |

It appears from posts above that Victoria, SA and QLD are now uninterested in the AFL grand final.
Would it not be better for GF-2005 to be held at Subiaco or the SCG? |

im driving down friday to watch the swans hopefully come through with the flag, i think theyve got a real strong chance, much better than '96 I started before the bandwagon/barrassi, went to every home game when 4000 people was a decent turn out (bring back the swannettes lol) |

WEST COAST EAGLES.......
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSS.. Quite sweet living in Adelaide. Some would consider it a dud Grand Final (as opposed to StKilda v Adelaide) Might mean some cheaper travel tickets. Surely wouldn't be a sell out.. GO EAGLES.. |

I couldn't care less who wins, but if my son's team wins tomorrow, they play the curtain raiser at the MCG on Grand Final day. Now that woud be a proud day for me!

I am a St. Kilda supporter so I a feeling a little gutted at the moment a bit like the feeling after every Bathurst since 1998 if you what I mean.
Anyway I want Sydney to win, they haven't won one since 1933 and West Coat won a couple back in the '90's, but Sydney will have to play without Hall. (a former St. Kilda great, a bit like Lockett)

There's a big question mark over the Eagles playing at the MCG. I mean, even Collingwood beat them there.

As a Geelong suporter I can't say I want to see the swans win. At the same time, the Eagles took the flag away from us twice in the 90s. I really don't care who wins. I think if Barry Hall plays sydney will win. If he doesnt play it will be tough for them.

Tight game i just hope we can win it and acording to ticketmaster they may be no tickets left for gen public on monday , maybe a few upper level and standing rm i couldt get 3 tickets on the bottom two levels together at 11 am all they had left were single seats in some areas near the action :

Though a doggies man, Before the start of the finals, I had a double (15-1) on the red & whites (Swans, St George) from both AFL & NRL taking out the flags... Still alive and looking ok!

sydney by a canter as eagles (like other ppl have said r suspect in victoria).
as for sydney we only lost one game this year at the mcg and that was to richmond by a point. if barry hall gets rubbed out it would be a big injustice as riccuito clean a guy up with a elbow to the head knock him out and he only got 1 week for it barry was nowhere near as bad as that.
